Our client is a growing, billion-dollar bank located in a growing area of Kansas and is looking to add a Portfolio Manager to their team. This individual will support loan officers in two different markets and work alongside two other portfolio managers. The position will have a strong focus on commercial lending, with experience in C%26I and CRE preferred; an ag lending background would also be helpful. The Portfolio Manager will work closely with the lenders to help prepare and manage their portfolios, with responsibilities tailored to each lender’s needs. This may include gathering and inputting financial information, assisting with credit analysis, preparing credit for loan committee, completing credit memos, and taking calls from borrowers as needed. They will also help ensure the bank has current insurance, titles, and other required documentation. Ongoing portfolio monitoring will include tracking exceptions, maturities, risk ratings, and financial statement requirements. The bank is looking for someone with a seasoned credit background who understands commercial credits and can work independently while partnering closely with lenders.
