Our client is a Nebraska-based bank holding company seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer for their Grand Island, Nebraska, office. This individual will inherit a commercial loan portfolio commensurate with their experience and have the opportunity to develop new business. While the office also handles some agricultural lending, the portfolio is more heavily weighted toward commercial credits, typically ranging from $500,000 to $5 million. This position is being created as part of the organization’s succession planning efforts, with upcoming retirements driving the need for additional talent. The bank is seeking a lender with a minimum of five years of commercial lending experience, a strong understanding of credit, and demonstrated success in new business development. Relocation assistance may be considered, although preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Nebraska, with ties to Nebraska, or from a surrounding state.
