Our client is a a well-respected, locally owned community bank in southwest Minnesota is seeking an Ag Loan Officer to join its team. With approximately $100 million in assets and a loan portfolio that is nearly 90% agriculture-focused, this bank is deeply committed to serving the farming community and maintaining local decision-making. Unlike larger institutions, lenders here play an active role in the credit approval process and serve on the loan committee, providing direct input into lending decisions and the overall direction of the bank. The successful candidate will inherit an established $10 million agricultural portfolio consisting primarily of row crop and beef production relationships, with average loan sizes around $500,000-$1 million. The right candidate can come in as either an AVP, VP or even SRVP.
