Our client is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to support both commercial and retail lending activities. This individual will work out of the main branch located Northeast of Lawrence, Kansas. This position plays a critical role in the loan process by preparing and reviewing loan documentation, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, perfecting collateral, and maintaining accurate loan records. Responsibilities include reviewing loan requests for completeness and accuracy, boarding loans to the core system, managing document imaging and indexing, and assisting with the routing and retention of loan files. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of loan documentation and loan operations procedures, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to maintain current knowledge of lending regulations and internal policies. This individual will also assist with departmental projects and support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the loan operations function.
