Our client is a very healthy bank group that is currently looking for a new Audit Executive just outside of the Chicago, Illinois market. This bank is a very progressive bank and they have grown over 10% each and every year the past 5 years. The Audit Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution audits. Responsible for the independent accomplishment of work assignments. Manage daily audit questions and ensure that all audit members are productive and engaged. You will be responsible for the overall quality of the audit work, promoting continuous enhancements and improvement of financial and operational controls, processes and system capabilities. Ensure the preparation of timely audit reports for executive management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. These audits provide a robust third line of defense in the banks overall Enterprise Risk Management strategy by providing assurance as to the effectiveness of the bank’s systems and controls.
