A well-capitalized, $1 billion community bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to join its established lending team. This is a growing bank with a strong institutional reputation and solid internal support. The role involves managing and growing a commercial loan portfolio with a focus on C%26I lending, commercial real estate, and participations. The successful candidate will work directly with the Chief Lending Officer, two additional commercial lenders, and three administrative support professionals. A portfolio will be inherited upon hire, with allocation based on the individual’s experience and background. They will be responsible for originating new business through relationship development, community involvement, and active calling efforts. Seeking someone with a minimum of 5 years of commercial lending experience with exposure to various types of commercial lending.
