A well-established community bank in Northern Kansas is seeking a Chief Lending Officer to lead and expand their lending operations. With a $200 million loan portfolio, 70% of which is agriculture-related, the bank specializes in row crop, livestock, FSA, and equipment loans, alongside a robust small business commercial lending program. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 15 years of ag lending experience, combined with a deep understanding of credit analysis, loan structuring, portfolio management and new business development. The Chief Lending Officer will be responsible for steering the bank’s lending operations and strategies, overseeing portfolio growth, maintaining portfolio quality, managing lending risk and building and fostering strong client relationships. This leadership role also involves supervising loan officers and the loan operations team, ensuring that lending services are delivered with excellence, efficiency, and a strong focus on client needs.
