Our client is a very healthy multi-billion dollar bank group that is currently looking for someone to help build out their syndication/participation division. This bank is a very progressive bank that is well-capitalized and is lending money. This position is open due to their growth and expansion. The bank is looking to build a more robust loan participation/syndication area to help them better manage their commercial real estate concentrations, risk, and exposure with their larger clients. The ideal candidate would be someone who would like the opportunity to build and run their own syndication desk at a 6 billion dollar + bank group. They would like this person to understand how to lead a large shared national loan syndication ($100 million+). Our client is currently doing more participations than syndications… selling to smaller banks or banks of similar size… but would like to begin doing more syndications vs. participations as they are always looking for ways to diversify their loan portfolio.
