Our client, a well-established $500 million financial institution in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking to expand their team with the addition of an In-House Legal Counsel. This critical role will provide comprehensive legal support across the organization, focusing on both day-to-day legal matters and long-term risk management strategies. This support will be involved in representing the bank on collections, conducting related hearings, reviewing and negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms, and keep up to date on new regulations. The role also involves collaborating with third-party attorneys when specialized expertise is required. In addition, they will support the development of new practices and procedures to align with the institution’s strategic goals, A significant portion of this role will involve working closely with the Credit Solutions Manager to manage credit recovery efforts. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of similar experience and be admitted and in good standing to practice law in Nebraska.
