Our client is a mid-sized publicly traded bank group located in Northern Indiana and they are actively looking to hire a new Controller. This position can be done remotely if you live in Indiana or Michigan. The bank is a very solid performing community bank group and is expanding in Northern Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the CFO in the preparation of the annual budget. This person will assume responsibility for the bank’s general ledger system and related activities. You will also help the CFO in developing and maintaining budgeting, financial planning, internal controls, accounting, and reporting policies for compliance. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance and 8-10 years of related experience required. An advanced degree in accounting and/or CPA certification is highly preferred.
