Our client is a community bank that is seeking an Agricultural Loan Officer. The bank has $200 million in assets. They have a Senior Loan Officer retiring at the end of 2025. They would like to bring someone in now to partner with the individual to make a seamless transfer of their loan customers. They will inherit up to a $20 million portfolio depending on their experience. Typical ag credits are $150,000 and up to $2 million but they have several credits up to $5 million and can participate with their sister bank. The majority of the portfolio is ag related but there are some commercial credits as well. This person will work with a team of loan officers and help to mentor junior loan officers.
