Our client is a very strong, growing community bank in the St. Louis, Missouri area who is looking for a Controller for their staff. This person will be responsible for oversight of all accounting operations, account reconciliations (General Ledger and internal accounts), daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting (Call Report, Sales tax, etc.), Board Reports, internal audits, and much more. This position will supervise a group of Accountants and bookkeepers, and report to the Head of Operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 plus years in accounting in a banking environment. A CPA, or Big 4 accounting firm experience is not required, but would be a plus. Advancement from this position is a possibility down the road for a star performer.
