Our client is a Community Bank located out of Colorado that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. This individual will be involved in the planning of the bank’s financial plans and policies. They will be communicating with the board regarding strategic planning and doing the Board Reports. They will chair the ALCO committee. They will be involved in the Bank Investments, budgeting, call reports, monitoring of interest rates, credit and portfolio risk, setting limitations for Asset / Liability Management and will assist in identifying ways to reduce interest rate risk. This person will need to have experience in vendor management and the negotiation of the contracts. They will be the trustee for the bank’s 401K plans. The CFO will serve on the following committees: Loan Committee, Asset-Liability Committee, Compliance Committee and Audit Committee. The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years of Accounting experience with a financial institution, and a CPA or MBA are a plus.
