We have an amazing opportunity for a Chief Credit Officer in Phoenix, Arizona with a very healthy, regional bank group. The position of Chief Credit Officer (CCO) is responsible for providing leadership, support, direction, credit information, and loan policies and procedures to ensure the overall quality of the bank’s lending portfolio. A primary duty of the CCO is the oversight of the ALLL and making recommendations regarding monthly allocations to ensure prudent levels, which mirror asset quality. The CCO shall review and approve / decline large complex loans prior to submission to the Loan Committee to ensure prudent and consistent adherence to all applicable internal policies and regulatory guidelines. This position is responsible for participating in various committees involved with the management of the bank. Additionally, this person shall perform direct leadership and supervisory duties of department staff; maintain and develop a competent staff in all applicable support areas. The ideal candidate needs to have a bachelors degree and 15 – 20 years of experience in credit management.
