ACIA65287 – Controller – Hybrid remote opportunity near Waterloo, IA
The Controller is responsible for assisting with managing the Accounting Department and working collaboratively with the CFO to develop and recommend high-level financial processes and procedures. Idea candidate will have 5+ years of experience in all facets of bank accounting and financial departments. A CPA and management is preferred but not required. Additional duties include working with general ledgers, investment accounting, loan accounting, fixed asset accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and reporting. Assist with policy, procedures, and internal controls to achieve bank’s goals and objectives and financial reporting, reconciliation process and preparation of monthly reports, quarterly call reports and serve on ALCO, We are seeking candidates who enjoy coaching and mentoring others in the accounting team and carry out supervisory responsibilities. This position would work in office in Eastern Iowa 2 to 3 days per week so is ideal for someone in Decorah, Cedar Falls, Clear Lake, Charles City, IA or Austin, MN.
