ACSC62758 – Information Technology Manager – Florence, SC (very close to Myrtle Beach)
Our client is a fast growing financial institution looking to hire an Information Technology Manager. The bank sits less than 2 hours to the beach. The Information Technology Manager is involved in the implementation, design, improvement and modification and day-to-day sustainment of the financial institution data storage, backups, servers, and networking devices. This includes the management of system and network administrators in the department tasked with supporting server applications and networked devices used by the the customers and end users. The major responsibility is to implement servers, network and storage architecture changes to routing, storage, and switching configurations to optimize infrastructure resources and enhance security. Designs and engineers firewalls, assists with end point protection, and other security appliances / software to protect network resources. The ideal candidate needs to have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions. The position needs experience installing and maintaining network servers using Microsoft operating systems and/or training in the installation and maintenance of Microsoft systems.
